Oh Happy new bike day for yesterday :-P

It looks GREAT i think they are very smart.

i dont think i could buy a new bike i would have no self control running it in. The monkey in my head would take over 100 yrds down the road

Another 100k's on it now. Duke has had a good go on it as he's here at the moment, he seemed to like it.

Tank pads and a few bits on it now. Couldn't change the mirrors as the bar ends on the 765 seem to be different and have a inner inside the bars i couldn't work out how to remove. More research required.

Just need to keep running it in, but thats no hardship

Don't the mirrors just screw it? That's what I did with my 675, I didn't remove anything from inside the bars. I thought it was the same for the 765s

Did you take the existing bar ends off and expose the tube then push in the new bar ends? Thats what i expected - but doesn't seem that way.

There is a metal part inside the bars on this - i'll take a pic later.

unscrew the bar end and use the screw you get with the mirrors and the mirror infill
you don't need the metal part around the screw, that's for earlier models

You see that metal part in the photo and the tapered end piece? Those are the bits you don't need. Take them off and expose the screw. Then just screw them into the end of the handlebars

Also my grips don't go to the end of the bars, there is about 1.5 cm of tube at the end after the grip is fitted.

The metal part sticking out of your bar end is further inside on my bar end and I don't have that cut out section.

I've got Rizoma grips on my bike.

Will do - just tried a test fit with your method and the bolt is too long for these - looks like they have changed the design.

I've sent 3 pistons a load of pictures - i'm happy to be involved in a redesign for the new bike - no rush.

I am really sorry but my advice was wrong, Our mirrors don't fit the 765 annoyingly.

I have a back up plan though, R&G sell some bar end sliders for the street triple. Our mirrors will clamp around them so you can fit them to your bars.

If you buy these from your Country, let me know how much you paid and I will refund as it's my mistake.

Further news on the mirrors. I couldn't get the R&G bar ends in France - R&G don't ship them there.

So i quickly emailed Rick at 3 pistons to check if they were the right ones so i could go looking on French sites.

Low and behold he's ordered them and once he has them will forward them on when he's had a look at them as it may help him change / adjust his design.
