Cookie, I have bided me time with it and now want to add some nice bling to it as and when bargains appear. I would still like to add a carbon air box and some 5 spoke Marchesini wheels. I have been offered a front wheel and discs at a decent price today but Might have changed the car today so am trying to resist spending anything more.

Just been out on it to scrub the new tyres in.
Good recommendation, Blade. They seem to have a more linear turn than the Dunlops. Going to have to get them over a long way to get rid of the chicken strips mind.

The bike never seems to grow any older (cool)
I reckon your right to wait a while before modding a bike, it took me 4 years before starting to mod the RSV. I'm so happy I waited as now I know exactly what I want to do with the bike and how I want it to look. I know your going to do the same with the 748.
Cleaned and lubed the chain ready for tomorrow, everything else seems to be ship shape and bristol fashion. Hoping the packing on the cans beds in a bit on the run up.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
All the mods done to date have been to make the bike better to ride or necessary for sweet running...that massive first service, suspension front and rear, new chain and sprockets, tyres, Brembo RCS m/c, new brake pads.
I bought a few titanium bolts over the winter, and the carbon swingarm protector can just be seen in the photo.
I have the monoposto seat unit and Tecnosel seat and the carbon front mudguard to fit when i have everything together.
I still toy with the idea of turning it into an 853 at some point.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Not technically done anything to the bike, but my birthday is coming up in a few weeks and the missus asked for a list of stuff I'd like.
Everything, and I mean everything on there was for the bike.
I won't get everything but hopefully I'll get some things, the others I can get myself bit by bit.
On the list of potential items are...
Evotech levers
R&G Crash Bungs
R&G Fork sliders
R&G Swingarm sliders
R&G Radiator guard
Motografix 3D Gel Protection (Stickers, basically)
SP Engineering Tail Tidy
I can't wait, I'm having to stop myself from rubbing my hands together like an evil mastermind!

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
a brand new one? I'm guessing that'll be easier on your back.
Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
yup a nice shiny new one..
its so comfy compared to the 10r and yes a lot easier on the back..for the first time in a while i actually enjoyed riding a bike without feeling like i left my spine at home...
