Ducati collection for sale ( Not mine)

Post by duke63 »

Posted on the 851/888 forum. That is some collection. I have an idea its an elderly guy featured in one of the magazines a couple of years ago.

I have decided to sell my collection of Ducati's. Ideally I'd like to sell them together so they can stay as a set but sadly, I suspect that is not going to happen. I've listed below what I have and would appreciate your thoughts on where I could advertise them. Here goes:-

851 Tricolour Kit New
851SP rebuilt zero miles as new
851 SP2 6000 miles
851 SP3 New
888 SP4 x2
888 SPS 7000miles UK bike mint
888 SP5 6000 miles mint
916 SP3 1000 miles
916 SPS new
996 SPS Foggy Rep 900 miles
996R new
998R 5000 miles
1098R 1000 miles

many thanks

Not the guy i thought it would seem though this one was also featured in one of the magazines a year or two back.

Blimey. That's a collection.

I'll take the Foggy rep.

Sitting idle surely can be good for the engines ?

It certainly isn't for the older Ducatis.

I'd love to have the kind of money for a collection like that.

I'd love to have the money, but I'm not sure I'd want a collection like that. How many bikes are new or barely run in? What a waste.

Very impressive Collection.

Never understood why Ducati ruined an awesome bike in the 996sps by sticking foggy stickers on it.

No me neither, Blade.

I am led to believe though that the 916SPS is more raw than the 996SPS and more like a race bike to ride.

Wow that Jack must have a spare few Bob to have a collection like that! I don't think I could have a collection to be honest, if I got one I'd like to ride it!! Hope the guy finds a good home for them all
