I find it incredible that the Republic of Ireland is only now considering making drink driving a mandatory disqualification

A scare tactic, maybe??? I mean, they always have the option of banning someone regardless of whether it is mandatory or not.

You can get 3 points for driving whilst drunk? No wonder they've got a problem.
