Weekend Plans
What you all up to?
Half a day today so getting a new front tyre fitted to the Z1000SX. Then off to the gym. I might sneak in a pint or two at the local as a nightcap
Wash the bike tomorrow morning. Then in the afternoon the local pub has a family day on so going up there with wife and No1 son to hopefully meet Perkles and his clan. My old fitness instructor might be coming as well. Food and beer for the rest of the day.
Sunday I'm hoping to get out on the bike. Shout out if anyone is about and wants to hook up.

Re: Weekend Plans
First company ride out on Saturday, and it's going to be an odd one. My boss has got a Panigale and his boss rides a Harley. Not sure which one, but it's got white wall tyres
Question is, do I take them over Itchy's Leap?

I've found a bridge near me that puts Itchy's Leap to shame.

Haha... you wouldn't cope with the brakes
Whatever you guys get up to, have a good time!
For me:
Friday - Try and get over my illness
Saturday - Pack the car/bike and travel to Pembrey for the night
Sunday - Trackday at Pembrey. Target? 1.02 or less.
Lap record for S'Stock 600 is 1.01.7

You're talking to the chap who had a Beriniger 20.6mm master cylinder with steel lines and Beringer solid iron endurance brake discs. Man that bike could stop. Someone following me on a track day thought I had hit a brick wall (as he went sailing past on to the grass )

Re: Weekend Plans
Haha that's awesome! That sounds similar to my brakes to be fair - I just kept over-braking for every turn. I was a little scared when trail braking though as I'm not used to them. This is only on the 19x18, haven't tried the 19x20 in anger yetKwacky wrote:Someone following me on a track day thought I had hit a brick wall (as he went sailing past on to the grass )Cav wrote:Haha... you wouldn't cope with the brakes

Re: Weekend Plans
Tonight, stuffing my face.
Tomorrow, kids school fair in the morning, cleaning the calipers on the bike in the afternoon as one is binding slightly. Trying to remember to call the insurance company too as the bike insurance is up.
Sunday. Hmmmmmm.

Re: Weekend Plans
Aching all over this morning after a very physical day yesterday, I did try drowning it with gin last night but the effect has worn off this morning. Today is taking Mini Gee into town and hitting the coffee and and cake shop, later on is enjoying time with the family and packing a case for tomorrow. Sunday is taking Mini Gee to a Cricket match in the am, then lunch and chill for an hour then off to the airport heading to Nürnberg for the week.
