You, my friend, need to learn to appreciate the absolute yumminess of milk gravy!
Pay attention now......you take a frying pan and place some vegetable oil in it....enough to cover the bottom, and put it on a medium heat....then pop in a tablespoon of flour, and stir it around, letting it brown a bit.
Then slowly pour some milk into the mix, constantly stirring it.....you should add some pepper at this point.....the whole thing will thicken up....much like that Yorkie batter will raise. It's very good......you'll know when it's ready.

Last night I had a "Whitby Platter".....basically fish & chips with three big PRAWNS (KK, you payin' attention?) and ordered the wife the "Captain's Platter" or sommit.....cod, calamari & PRAWNS, down at The Olde Ship, the local English spot....place is a bit pricey ($7 for a beer??) but the food is always good.

Re: What are you eating ??
Just made a Lasagne for dinner this evening, so it seems only right to be sat with a glass of wine and a few pieces of cheese as nibbles while it cooks.

Re: What are you eating ??
A lovely freshly made (by myself) fruit salad.
Pineapply based
Sliced apple
Full grapes
Depipped plums
And a opened up manderin...meaning bit of skin on and rolled open showing the individual segments (information gained from crazyrussianhacker from YouTube)
Oh and topped with a few dollops of vanilla yoghurt!

Ohhh that sounds good!!
Despite having lived here so long, I have very little experience of Mexican food......but now with a Mexican girlfriend, it's all I frickin' eat!! I LOVE a decent burrito, just not the breakfast kind....they're only good for if you're driving, and it's not like you can put ketchup or HP on them, 'cos you'd look a total mong.
You ever had a 'machaca' mate?? It's fecking delicious.....it's like Mexican Egg Foo Young....with the ever-present beans & rice.
I'm getting hungry, and wor lass is hinting....
