Sounds good.. Do you deliver??Monty wrote:A calzone/pasty made from leftover pizza dough and beef stew, with a bit of stilton in it. Fecking genius, if I do say so myself. Bloody lovely!

Steak.
First Wednesday of the month is steak and lobster day.
And given I was up at midnight I thought it would be rude not to have one.
And I've just had another one now.
I'm not sure you can ever have too much steak.

Advice from the Doctor.
Apparently its the only way of finding out if i am intolerant (rather than allergic) to wheat. Not going to be easy TBH.

Good luck. Be interesting to find out, & how you cope with the exercise, & how you feel during it.

It's mroe common than people realise. But I agree with the others, it got to be tough to try and cut it out of your diet.

Re: What are you eating ??
Its not helped by the crap way supermarkets make their bread apparently and unsurprisingly!!!
In my case i suspect it may be more to do with too much wheat at certain times.

Supermarket bread is packed full of crap. Nothing will compare to proper fresh bread.

No i agree. Wife is getting good at making some breads at home.
The system supermarkets use is called the Chorleywood Process and is used to save time and money.

Re: What are you eating ??
The Chorleywood is the worst thing that's happened to bread for years, I know it makes bread cheaply and the bread lasts, but at the high cost of bakers going out of business and the quality of said bread. The French have more sense than us when it comes to bread, a good baker is treasured and busy, I don't Chorleywood will ever get started over there unless major changes occur.

Re: What are you eating ??
Duke I got a bread maker about 2 years ago and make small quantities of very nice bread to cut down on glutton. Doesn't go very far between 6 of us but that was the idea. Couldn't live without bread so now we just eat much less with non of the shit.
Try searching for Paleo recipes on the interweb. I did a grain, diary and sugar free diet for 3 months and you'd be surprised how well you can eat.
