We've gone to a vegan pie and mash shop. I had a chicken and mushroom pie with mash and veg. Very nice indeed.

Re: What are you eating ??
The new restaurant up the hill where I live started doing brunch today. So Jess and I being on a kid free weekend headed down before our road trip down south.
I had the Big Brekkie which was delicious. The sausages were homemade and the star but there was not a complaint on any aspect of the meal
As an aside, the little settlement I live in has really come alive in the last year. We only had the local pub and then the next shop was 10 km away. But in the last year the old original homestead had been renovated and is a family restaurant, the old residence next to it is a fine dining restaurant, and a vacant lot adjacent is a little grocery store and bottle shop. The local pub has also been bought and renovated and spruced up with much better meals than previously. So spoilt for choice now!

Re: What are you eating ??
Another big brekkie today once we finally surfaced. Funnily enough that was the first thing we had eaten in 24 hrs since yesterday’s brunch. Last night we weren’t hungry for some reason, but unbelievably thirsty

Not a bad effort for 6 minutes, but a little disappointed that there is actually some left at all

Re: What are you eating ??
A proper old fashioned Curry Lunch for 8 of us, we made Dhansak, Korma and a creamy hot veg curry, with our own chapatis, plus poppadoms and basmati on the side, we did all the chutneys, pickles, coconut, chopped apple etc as well.
We ate ourselves to a standstill and there was still enough for 3 lunches for me at work!

We've all been busy today so no Sunday lunch. Bangers and mash it was. But I am doing a decent job of demolishing the banana bread my wife made.

Thai green curry. I tried to make my own but it failed. Not creamy enough and the spice lacked depth.

Re: What are you eating ??
Put a bit of effort into dinner last night, did slow cooked pork belly with BBQ marinade, sweet potato roasted wedges and steamed vege. First time I had my kids walk in from school and ask what smelled so delicious!
