Re: Can you tell who it is yet?
Firstly, I'm not defending his conduct. -He was found guilty of sexual assault, and that is a deplorable act by any sane person's perspective.!
However,,
He was an awesome polymath. An amazingly gifted artist, an undeniably successful TV presenter who displayed a great rapport, and even a successful pop music artist, I really liked "Two little boys" when it was released ( I was very young & naive, so the sentiment played to me at the time). In short, I thought very highly of him (until 2012, anyway).
It seems such a shame that all those talents have been besmirched, but I guess it was his life to mess up as he saw fit.
Incidentally having said that ^ I utterly despised Jimmy Saville, I felt I always somehow "subconsciously knew" he was a nasty worthless scumbag who seemed to have everyone blinded by his garish facade.

Sadly his victims didn't have that choice.

His paintings of castles, landscapes, etc. were very good.....kinda geometric rather than artistic.
His people, portraits, etc. look a little awkward, or maybe even rushed & clumsy.

Hitler was a pretty sh1t painter, but I believe that Monty was really just making a point about my observations rather than comparing his level of artistic competence to Rolf Harris.
I get it, I really do.
I did start my post by emphatically stating that I was NOT defending or in any way condoning the appalling conduct that he was convicted of.
'till a man hears what he want's to hear, and disregards the rest,,,,
