Nice to see the old Daytona 600
The Thruxton FB group I'm in are all frothing over the chrome tank on the Thruxton R, I have no idea why. I'm not a fan, and in the Aussie sun, you'd be constantly blinded!

I think those days are gone. Girls in tight pvc trousers is as good as it gets now.

I didn't see any brolly dolly's at all on Saturday, and it was so crowded I barely got any decent shots of the bikes.
I'm pretty happy with my little XR but would trade it for a GS if I could make the finances work, does that mean I'm officially old?

Erm... Yes.. sorry mate.
Make sure you try the big XR though, it's just as big but it's very smooth and comfortable. I loved mine. 3rd gear roll on power wheelies on something that big are fun.
