Dainese under-leathers boots

Anyone ever tried these?

My new Dainese trousers have double zips on the calf so they can be worn inside or outside the boot. I believe the idea is that boots worn under the jeans leg cannot catch on anything were you to fall off. Also if it rains then water cannot run down the inside of the boot.

There is currently a pair on ebay in my size that i might bid on tomorrow if they don't get to silly prices.

Lovely. My only check would be on calf protection - i assume they are not armoured as tall as 'traditional' boots.

I have a pair of dainese short boots for my kevlar jeans when i used to commute so i could wear them all day at work (ie no need to get changed). Lovely quality.

I think they have an inner boot like the Alpinestars Supertech R's, Cookie.

The jeans already have shin amour too.

I would be worried about the lack of rotation prevention of the ankle join in those boots. They dont look like there is much above the ankle to me :/

I didn't bid on the ones on ebay and now wished i had.

I tried wearing my Daytona Roadstar boots under the leathers and they worked pretty well. Its much more comfortable that trying to stuff your leathers inside a boot.
