Not what you want to come home to see.

What's caused that?

We aren't sure. There's no sign of it leaking through the roof or walls. I presume it's coming from the field as the floor is below field level. We'll put a gutter on the roof and feed it down the side and a pea gravel gutter dug into the ground to aid drainage away from the workshop

That's very disappointing, your mancave looked well sorted when you'd finished it.

Yeah it's gutting to be honest. I would have expected the roof to leak before anything else so this was a surprise.
I can't do anything about it for now so hopefully it'll dry out just fine and everything will be alright. I hope.

Oh that sucks.
Try & sweep/broom as much of that out as you can (if you haven't done so already).
Maybe throw some sand down to absorb some of the water...then sweep that up too & get some fans going on the slab....it can be a real bear to get moisture out of concrete once it's soaked in there...and it might well keep coming up for a while.
What is it....a 6-inch slab??

The flood water had vacated after a few hours and I'm running the dehumidifier constantly. Already drained more than 3L from it.
I need to give it a clean in there now but that can wait a couple of days
