I'm forever seeing pleas on social media from people asking for their dog back.
Have you seen the price puppies are going for now? I know someone who recently bought a King Charles spaniel for£2,400.

Its very worrying and heartbreaking for the dog owners.
It should be treated the same as kidnap imo.
It does worry me i must say.

There's quite a bit of it happening round our area.
I regularly see posts on the local groups. The worst bit is they show pictures of the dognappers and the vehicles they are using, it gets sent to the police and they just say they don't have the resources to investigate.

It's a constant source of concern imho.
My "Guard Dog" seems to have gone from being an active & effective deterrent, to becoming my most overly thieve-able asset.
Worse: , -We suffer quite a lot from lampers round these parts, and according to Farmwatch they have been linked to dog thefts.
