These. The next level up is a big cost step and i don't think i would wear them often enough to justify the price. These come with good reviews and seem to work well.

Could you answer a couple of questions.

Are these the new single layer type or have they got a liner?

What did you go for regular length or long? Just wondering if long is better on the bike?

Are they loose fitting as want to put Dainese Axial Pro inner boots under them?

Cheers for the help (y)

They are single layer, I went regular length, I think if you go longer they would be a pain, they are on the longer side anyway and I can get my Dainese boots underneath and mine are not the Axial Pro boots but boots with full shin armour. I would avoid the slim fit version personally.

If I could change just once thing then It would be nice to have a little stretch in the denim but that is when the price rises significantly. Otherwise they are a decent buy and they do feel as tho they would stand up well in a tumble.

Managed an hours ride today before rain draw an abrupt halt to the fun (gah)

Had the new jeans on and felt very good. Initially the hip armour felt restrictive but soon started to bed in and its not like I want to be hanging off the bike in jeans anyway.

Got to say I was pleased with them. Thanks for the recommendation Duke.

Worked well with my old bikers jacket (20 year old but still fitted :P ) and the Dianese inner boot fit snuggly under the jeans, whilst still maintaining motogp levels of ankle and foot protection.

I ride 100% in bike jeans (old leathers don’t fit now (lol) ) if I’m not in winter textiles, and still hang off the bike if I’m getting up it. Have lightly touched the jeans to the road once and a light graze on them so now I just lift the knee a bit if I’m going over low.

The Oxford jeans are great value and are AA safety rated which is as good as some leathers.

That said most of the time i prefer to wear my dainese leather jeans as unless its hot, they are more comfortable.

Its more a sign of how good the Dainese leather jeans are than a slight on the Oxford jeans.

The jeans are good for the sort of bimble out ride or a work visit.

They were the most expensive ones they made at the time, made of the best leather and have the leather stretch panels in them so they have not lost their shape.
