CX500
cx500 with a CX650 custom frame bought off the tat man for a drink as scrap non runner, got it running in half an hour ,engine out in an hour ,stripped by midnight
I have a vision of what it will look like in my head but crap at drawing things on paper,it wont be a heads down cafe racer more of a bobber type thing
Stripping and prepping the frame today ,heads off the engine and checking valve wear clearances etc

Re: CX500
so the frame and tank are in base colour ready primer ,which takes about four coats of acid etch and high build primer with a guide coat inbetween to highlight any blemishes or dings
Im going for gold as ive got some paint left to use up ,but stripe the tank or not mmmm dunno

Re: CX500

That's annoying, I thought that classic teardrop tank was quite fetching. Is it repairable.?Perkles wrote:tank was ready to put some colour on it tonight but I dropped it
