A lot of interest being shown in this. Seems there is also a Tuono version being tested.

Depends on price but sounds tempting. .

The RS looks good but the tuono looks shit.
It's got to be around the £13/£14k mark I would have thought.

They almost look like pocket bikes.

Agreed Tuono doesn't look good.

The current Tuonos are ruined by the horrendous paint jobs.

Priced correctly it could be a big seller and hopefully start a trend of more useable sports bikes.

It looks like the from fairing is falling off.

A parallel twin sports bike would suit me down to the ground.

Why would that be better than a v-twin?

The GS had a parallel twin and it had all the punch and torque of a v-twin but was almost as smooth as an inline 4. V-twins have a habit of being very viby.

Let's hope it's not a disappointment like the Daytona.
I'm interested in the figures. Surely it won't be kicking out more than 80-85bhp? It's a 660cc parallel twin. In order to be competitive it has to be very light.

It'll be 76bhp and lightest in class (or 2nd to I presume the KTM 790 if that's the same class?)
1bhp more than whatever the Kawasaki and Suzuki produce anyway

They're claiming 100bhp and 169 kg.
Brembro brakes, up and down shifter with blipper, ride by wire and the usual maps and controls.
