The GS had a parallel twin and it had all the punch and torque of a v-twin but was almost as smooth as an inline 4. V-twins have a habit of being very viby.D41 wrote:Why would that be better than a v-twin?

Let's hope it's not a disappointment like the Daytona.
I'm interested in the figures. Surely it won't be kicking out more than 80-85bhp? It's a 660cc parallel twin. In order to be competitive it has to be very light.

It'll be 76bhp and lightest in class (or 2nd to I presume the KTM 790 if that's the same class?)
