Motorway driving has got so much worse
I have had a long day today, heading down to Wales and back... for crying out loud what the fudge is wrong with people!!!
Why do you have to sit up my arse and the car in fronts arse and spend miles on miles on your brakes every 2 mins
Why do you have to stay out in the outside lane when inside is clear, when you finally move over you speed up
Why do you have to sit in the middle lane with nothing on the inside of you, so all thee traffic is now backing up behind trying to over take
Why do you have to pull out regardless of what is behind you, into a lane which is going much faster than you When its not safe to do so!!!
Why do you .... oh b****x you get the drift of my rant....
I got home I was shattered... ate, fell asleep, and now I have woken up I am wide awake and ranting.... (deadhorse)Thank you TS

Re: Motorway driving has got so much worse
I have to agree with you Fkr1s, but I think it's just symptomatic of peoples self obsessed & selfish attitudes that are becoming so much more prevalent these days.
It seems to me that the increase in bad drivers is just yet another example.?

Re: Motorway driving has got so much worse
Frankie, I feel for you. The trips to Carmarthen/Truro/Liverpool etc and back with a 7-8hr working day in the middle are not missed and if I can wangle it are over for good. The roads are awful, full of selfish, stupid, inept people and will not get better as far as I can see.
Stay safe out there.

Re: Motorway driving has got so much worse
Spot on StMarks so true...its very very sad.
Dave I know, I have cut back on the distances I go now for this reason, back in the day I used to love getting my old mark one escort out or my capri gear ha ha, for a weekend drive to Poole or somewhere. But now I cant stand driving at weekends, BIKE - YES - as I can make progress a little easier
I really wished I was in the 911 I saw today, they were obviously getting the hump as I was, but with the power they just nipped around it all like I would have on the S1 done in a flash ha ha, but not in my volvo ha ha,

Or a Porsche Cayman. I don't know a lot about these things but it seems one of these is the best and most fun £40k you can spend on a car.Frankie wrote: I really wished I was in the 911 I saw today, they were obviously getting the hump as I was, but with the power they just nipped around it all like I would have on the S1 done in a flash ha ha, but not in my volvo ha ha,

Re: Motorway driving has got so much worse
I think I managed to ride for about 3 miles this morning in lane 1 of the M6 without having to slow down. All of the other buggers were in lanes 2 and 3. One even flashed his lights at me. He didn't change lanes though.
Re: Motorway driving has got so much worse
You are getting too mad about this. You wanna do what I do. Sit in the middle lane at 65 and just ignore all the angry bastards around you.

Re: Motorway driving has got so much worse
I don't think it's just motorway driving! Last night I was driving out to somewhere and the geezer in front of me kept stopping for no good reason in a 50...it wasn't like I was close to him I don't like being close so mainly was just watching him stop then carry on. WTF was that all about!!

I've had a quick read. Same bullshit, less believable.
He needs help. I like how some of the tdrs have asked for the thread to be closed.
We are well shot of that one. I doubt anything he has ever said has been true. A true troll.

Re: Motorway driving has got so much worse
It is all very suspect, to say the very least. The lack of pictures (despite him acknowledging numerous requests) does add to the disbelief.
Fwiw I think I do believe that he has lost his wife.
I think I can believe he has therefore lost contact with his son.
I can believe that his father is half a world way, has dementia, & is on the point of dying.
I think I can believe that he has lost his physical health.
I think I can believe that he has crashed his bike, although I may have reservations on certain aspects.
I think I can believe that he has probably lost his employment.
I Know that it is a real shame, because I really like the D41 I knew before this all kicked off. I acknowledge that his posts suggest that he is "off balance" currently, but I expect that an accumulation of the above aspects may find the weakspot in many of us.?
Troll, or simply ill, as I understand D41 was expelled from TS to prevent his escalating rants about his rapid decline from spoiling the ambiance of the forum.? So perhaps we should avoid doing so without him even being here.?

Nah it's fun to pick on nutters. Don't worry.
I can't read that thread as I'm not a member. Is it a similar pile of rank dog turd like we all had to endure ?

Same old crap I'm afraid. He currently seems to need to tell everyone all about the beautiful 20 somethings that can't keep their hands off him.Binno wrote:Nah it's fun to pick on nutters. Don't worry.
