Back protector vest.

I'm thinking of buying a back protector which is attached to a vest.

I currently have the Forcefield back protector but think a vest would work better. Also the current protector does make my back sweat a lot on warm days.

The choice seems to be only two:

Knox Track vest. There does seem to be a slightly newer version of this for 2014 but it appears to be very similar.

Forcefield Airo vest which is new for 2014.

Prices are very similar. Anyone own either or know of others out there?

I want something that will be easy to use, comfortable, not to sweaty and of course does the job its designed for.

I had the Knox one and it's was very sweaty Duke, great fit and the armour in the back felt snug and never moved but was way too hot for me.

I have an older knox one and I find it to be fine ....
I wear it over a tshirt or a long sleeve thermal and as its a mesh material, it allows it to breath and it stays in place.
The adjustable velcro waist band is good as well for my ever increasing and then decreasing torso. (blush)

I've got a Dainese one with the chest protector as well.

I rarely wear it. Duke, you're more than welcome to try it out for a bit to see how you get on with it.

I think that's something you have to put up with if you're going to use a back protector. They all make you sweaty.

Cheers, Kwacky, i may take you up on that offer. I think i need to go and have a look at a few before making any decisions. My main thinking for a change was that the Forcefield does make my back sweat even on the mildest of days and it isn't the easiest to put on and off.

If nothing else is an improvement i would stick with what i have, TBH.
