After 10 years....I've finally lost one of my Ultimate Ear squidgy ear plugs. Done me well, but they no longer fitted as they once did.
Anyone got any recommendations on what to get next??

I've used loads of different types over the years for work and biking including custom fit and none beat these imo. Great noise attenuation and super comfy.
Second best are these type.

the second pic in blades post are the ones i use also. im sure that there are some great noise reducing ones that would drown out all the long distance bike/commuting noises but as i only ride on track i need to hear what the bike is doing, ive worn some before that were so good i kept hitting the rev limiter thus making me go more backwards than forwards, and i need all the help i can get, lol.

I use Howard Leight as they did well in a review I dug up. I've used laser light and currently got some low pressure ones (still howard leight) as I'm useless at getting the things in my ear. According to the review, any plugs with cords or something running through them aren't as good but never tried them so couldn't say. At some point I'll try the ones Rossgo uses as they seem very highly rated too.

I guess the pentration for the string is a leak path. Only slight but must have an effect according to the report.

Happy days I hope you like them. Obviously important their fitted correctly but if they are the noise attenuation is the best I have experienced and belief me I've tried them all in my job role.
