Fortunately there was a run off (almost) so could have been a lot worse, especially on a road circuit with walls and telegraph poles etc. Hopefully not too badly banged up.

That run off is brand new as you can see where the dig has moved the hedging.

It's the same spot Dean Harrison came off last year which was probably the driver for creating the new run off.

It was cancelled last week due to poor weather at the salt flats.

I saw his crash on Facebook, I heard he's pretty banged up. I suppose he goes into these races knowing the risks as they all do, but it's never makes it right when it does happen. Hope he recovers quickly, when I saw it on Facebook it looked like it took him forever to move. Also respect to the Marshall who slipped over on way to recover him and he just got straight back up and carried in running
