They have tried evey year since he retired. One things for sure he knows his own mind.

Apparently Stoner did approach HRC and offer to sub for pedrosa but Nakamoto knocked Casey's request back.

Reason is they will only have him back if he can fight for podiums and with out a set up and his old crew chief Christian Gabarini working with Jack Miller, Nakamoto didn't see The Casey offer as a good one.

Strange but true apparently.
