I bought this bike from a good friend I have know the bike for 6-7 years and he has always looked after it. It may not look nice but mechanically it's sound. I got it home for the first time last Thursday after I have been farting around trying road register it. The laws changed a few years back and you now have to prove that vat has been paid on the bike by contacting HMRC. Anyway that's all done and with an mot I have sent the documents off to the dvla.
So I've been cleaning it up and going through any bits that need tidying up. Should be fun when I get it on the road.

It's got the wear on the RH side, but I'd say by the looks the LH side has been touched up.Frankie wrote:I like it... How come your putting it on the road? That's a great off-road weapon, I reall miss my trail bike riding.
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

Re: Kxf250
I quickly gave it a coat of paint i know it wont last long but seeing rust was doing my head in so wire brushed it and painted it. I went round and oiled / greased everything and took most things off and cleaned them.
Putting on the road so I can do a bit of green laning with a few local mates , it will be getting a number plate and not much else. Also going to try and get to some MX tracks. Went to watch the racing today at fat cat track in Donny and it looked really good fun.
