Very average, I was on my way back from Bala and saw it getting a bit dusky at around Telford. I was completely underwhelmed.

Yeah....seen a few myself and they were fairly tepid.....even the supposedly "great" one we were supposed to have a few years ago came up a bit lame.

Best I ever witnessed re: phenomenon like that was the raging winds and forest fires that kicked in after a big quake we had some years ago.....very surreal effect it had, because the winds really were howling, sky was red, etc. from all the sand and subsequent forest fires.....my hat is off to those people though....most of them are volunteers and often a bit out of their depth when they see a full size forest fire.
