I was driving back from Brum at about 10pm and the motorway was particularly unpleasant in the snowstorm.

Some drivers don't seem to have any idea as to how grip and stopping distances are affected when the weather is like that.

My road is still covered I'm off work today but got to drive a mate over to Hinckley to pick his car up so hope the main roads are clear.

Thanks that's what I was hoping, as there's not much traffic up my road it still looks quite bad and can't see my car.

No snow around Hinckley.

By me though there was a couple of centimetres. (cannock/Rugeley area) and it had turned icy in the morning.

No snow down here yay though they have been warning for the past couple days about it. Think we should all just be made to buy snow tyres through the winter months just in case, should help out a fair bit I reckon

there had been a multiple car smash this morning on the A456 on the way out of brum at Quinton, just after the Halesowen island that you drive underneath. looked as though the cars that passed under the island didn't expect snow as they came out the other side, I saw at east 4-6 cars at various angles with various damage.

There were a couple of bad crashes around Brum because of the snow.

I think I'm in Wolvo later this week, fingers crossed it eases off before then. Warmer weather down our way from Friday onward.
