Every wash I've ever used seems no different to good old fairy liquid and water. Still got to graft. But cost boat loads more. Or it just me?

Doesn't washing up liquid have some crap in it which dulls the paint?

SDOC100 is the best stuff I've ever used.

Every article on bike cleaning I've seen says to stay away from fairy like the plague.
It's something I know but can't for the life of me remember why.

Washing up liquid has a high salt content which is why you wouldn't want to use it on washing a bike or car.

That's reminded me I've run out of SDOC stuff. Chain cleaner, chain wax and bike wash gel ordered.
