Been to the NEC today and had a good look around.
Lots of lovely new bikes about but the sportsbike market is such a small part of it now even though the most stunning bikes were sportsbikes.
Triumph almost seemed embarrassed to have the 675R on their stand.
I've got a few photos to post up in a bit.

- I'll start with my faves from the show. I'm a Ducati man through and through but the R1-M is beautiful and if i had that sort of cash to spend, would be very tempted.

- And the DVT engine. Shite photo and is that bloke flicking the V's?

- New Multi is very nice and they appear to have listened to what owners would like improved. The seat height has been lowered slightly

- The bike many people wish Triumph would build. Its 675 bodywork round a Speed Triple R engine. Not sure if it would work as a sportsbike or not but it looks good.

- Kawasaki H2R. It seemed to get most attention and is a masterpiece of engineering. Not sure its a masterpiece of a motorcycle though.

- Honda RCV roadbike. Quite why they had to put it so high on a pedestal. Some lovely finishing on it but then for the figures they are talking about, there should be.

- BMW RS1200. Nice bike though the top box was very small for a touring bike. A lot of the bikes shown on all stands had 'Pre-production' stickers on them and saying the final bike may differ slightly.
