First real ride on this bike. OMG its better than I could ever have imagined.

Are you going to turn into a full GS rider and have hard panniers put on and cover them in stickers?

They are supposed to be very accomplished bikes. It looks heavy, I take it it doesn't feel that way?

Bikes like this do give a completely different slant on bike riding.

No, the plan I have is that if I get panniers they will be soft ones. I do intend going camping this summer. I need to work out how to get all the camping stuff on.

Its heavier than the S1k, but lighter than the equivalents like the Explorer.

Plus due to the odd erm I mean boxer engine, a lot of the weight is very low down. It feels very light and balanced on the move. In fact transition from side to side its a lot faster than the S1k. SO it will be quicker through the twisties, and it was supposed to be slowing me down lol.
