I used to go to Germany on training courses a couple of times a year, the subject of Brits abroad came up from time to time and tbh was embarrassing, they saw us as a joke, with the need to get bladdered and cause trouble where ever we either holidayed or watched football. This kind of stupidity does nothing to change that image.

I feel for the girl actually, all those guys stood there and will get away pretty much scot free, but that 3 minutes will hang over her for at least 20yrs - probably more. Just goes to show we still aren't anywhere near an equal society.

I agree with all of that. There are times I've been abroad and ended up drinking with non brits so I can enjoy myself without worrying about getting glassed.

That girl has grown up with cameras on phones. Everyone knows you can't do silly things without it being recorded.

I work with plenty of Brits and Scots and I must say they are the best bunch of blokes. Plenty of good natured ribbing goes on and I reckon the platform would be worse of with out them.

But it is a 'dry camp' maybe that's the difference!

Aussies in Bali are just as bad so I don't think it's a purely Brit thing. More a young drunk holiday thing.

I dread to think what her parents would be thinking, but then again no matter how bladdered I'd got in the past I always remember the rollicking I'd get from mine if I were to do anything totally dis respectful.

I have 2 girls and my youngest is 25 . She has done a lot in her young life, Just come back from a 5 dayer in Glastonbury, voluntary work at a reserve in SA , solo back packing in Oz and yes the dreaded party isles in Spain.

In fact she's off on one soon, but not once has she let me down. I think the reason why is she has a set of friends both male and female who do all the holidays and parties together, and they all have parents like me. They party hard but only do it together.

This will be the ninth year that they have been and the lads look after the girls and instead of a hotel they invariably get a large villa.
So spend a lot of the time there and maybe only take in a couple of club nights throughout.

They all have responsible jobs, my youngest works for the police force (no not an officer!!) and she has to keep clear of trouble, one is an SRN, one a manager of a hair salon and one in human resources , the lads are all self employed and have to work very hard to go on holiday

I'm not saying they are angels but they also have more respect for themselves and each other.

What were this girls friends doing to allow her to do it?

Makes me ashamed to be British to be honest.

DAMN, I think maybe shes not mental, I think Ive been possessed by those same spirits (although I would like to clarify Ive never blown 24 guys coz of it HAHA)

If you watch any of those holiday programmes on telly then it seems it standard behaviour for a lot of them.
