If it stays dry I will ride. But if there's any rain, I will go in the car.
I just hate the car so much.

So do I. An hour and 10 minutes into work this morning. Going home won't be any better.

Have you tried Podcasts in the car? I take a pint of coffee and catch up on loads of sh!t. Some days it's actually the best part of my day.

I used to listen to Audiobooks when I was travelling for work, like you say Monty - it was often a really nice part of the day.

I don't mind the rain so much. After writing my D6 off on black ice, I'm very cautious now.D6 wrote:If it stays dry I will ride. But if there's any rain, I will go in the car.

Yesterday I took it out for a little spin as a treat following some intensive house work lol....
The amount of mud on the road which was damp and slippy on the B raods was dangerous, I dont blame you getting a car sorted for a few days, I nearly lost the car on this kind of road surface today !!! and thats with four big wheels with massive contact patches

I don't mind rain. What I meant is if it rains then freezes. I don't mind sub zero temp. As long as no rainD6Nutz wrote:I don't mind the rain so much. After writing my D6 off on black ice, I'm very cautious now.D6 wrote:If it stays dry I will ride. But if there's any rain, I will go in the car.

Podcasts are audio-based informal chats regarding one or more topics, listening to opinions of people you like, etc. You also get music podcasts which are just like a recorded radio show.D41 wrote:I Googled "podcast" & what one is, found it, and am still none the wiser...

I followed an aston martin SUV today. With prototype vehicle sticker on the back. I had also earlier passed a new Aston martin. The SUV had similar LED lights.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
The rear lights on the SUV (DBX) look almost exactly like the vantage! Really nice car to be fair to it.
I see JLR prototype cars on the motorway fairly frequently through winter. they often blat it on one particular stretch then chill at about 60mph for a bit. Passenger on the laptop. I presume they're calibrating for temperature (at higher speeds) and then doing some fuel economy calibration runs at lower speed.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I see quite a few prototype/development cars road testing in the Peaks. They normally have foreign plates and support vans.
Not sure what this one was but it was testing in August last year. Thought it might be a new A Class, but the 2019 model's lights and reg plate are different.
