I wouldn't worry about it. That's a decent weigh loss already. I reckon your body is adjusting to the change in diet and exercise so it's probably taking a break to let things settle down*

Today marks the start of my foray into twice a day training.

Heavy(for me) usually compound lifts in the morning before work.

Lighter lifts and with more isolated exercises (generally) at lunchtime.

So today's effort was 5 x 5 on squats and leg press at 0630, then with my lunchtime being booked for a graduation parade, I settled for a 1000 treat of 3 x 10 on front squats, leg extensions, leg curls, dumbell lunges and 3 x 15 for calf raises.

My quads now feel like they're about to drop off the bone. I suspect tomorrow will be troublesome!

I did 2x my body weight for 2 reps. Form wasn't 100% but I managed it. 170kg
Impressive stuff.

I've been warned about having a lack of time between training sessions, you need at least 6 hours I believe between sessions - might be 8. I'd read up about it just incase because you don't want muscle degeneration.

I did deadlifts today - not so wise the day after legs though haha - and I managed 110kg but my grip was **** and I started using straps too late

Yeah, the original plan was to get nearly 6 hours between the sessions. Unfortunately work got in the way. It wasn't ideal but at least the gym was empty.

Chest today.

Bench press and incline dumbell press this morning, flyes of varying descriptions and cable work finished off with push ups at lunchtime. Must've been spent as I could only do 3 sets of 11 push ups by the end.
I also tried Cav's plate press exercise that he mentioned a few pages ago.
Never tried it before but I was intrigued by the tension.
Picked up two 10 kg plates.

Sat on a bench.

Pushed the weights together in preparation to pick them up.

Nipped the skin of my penis between the plates.

(doh)

To top that off I couldn't really get to grips with the exercise. Dropped down to two 5kg plates but still didn't really feel the burn. Whether I was still kicking myself for squishing my tackle is debatable!

...errmmm, why were you naked?!

Would it help if I took a video of the exercise next time I do it at the gym?

I left the weights alone yesterday and went swimming. I did about 22 laps in 24 minutes. I then did a 52 second lap at the end as a sprint style workout. (All breast-stroke)

My heart rate returned to rest within about 30 seconds which was satisfying

Thin tracky bottoms!

Funnily enough, as I gave up I looked up and saw the guy next to me doing them.
He had no problems!
Maybe it was the weights, I was using the metal ones that were totally flat and slippery, he was using rubber coated ones.
