That is such a great-looking bike....big motor, compact looks, etc.

Had a little blat with some guys. Two were 2-up but it didn't stop me from having a right blat anyway. 130miles all in

Took it the long way to and from Squires to bed the new front brakes in, the stopping power is intense with no vibration or pulsing and because the discs are straight the brakes react instantly (warped discs push the pads back) One finger braking.

After a few more rides I will really lay into them and see what these SBS RS pads can do.

Reached the first service mileage mark.

Took a ride down the B4364 for the first time this year. Ended up in Bewdley.

Took the 999 out for another spin, first to Marlborough, stopped for a coffee and bacon sarnie, then up past Swindon to Cirencester then back home through Tetbury, very enjoyable ride indeed.

You're braver than me! I won't do 1 finger braking.. I just don't have the confidence or feel.

I stick to the two

I wouldn't do it regularly but the brakes are that powerful now that I could in normal riding.

I hadn't realised how badly the warped discs were effecting things.

Left it at home. My thumb is still very sore so I thought I would be better off in the car.

I do need to get out on a bike soon though, I don't want the crash playing on my mind for too long.

Took the big AT into work.

My thumb is still very sore. It was a bit of an uncomfortable ride in.
