Cough medicine.
If I can drink enough of it & get a buzz, I'll be thrilled to bits.
I just cannot seem to shake this cough. I think it's permanent.

Orange juice, because the soft c*cks at the Qantas lounge won’t open the bar before lunchtime

Re: What are you drinking?
All the gin!! Deegee you’d love this place. The ‘Gin Palace’ in Melbourne. We called in here last year when I picked up my campertrailer and had a good natter to the manager/head bar chick. We walked in tonight and she goes, ‘You guys are Reg’s mate’s from Sydney!!’ (Reg is my good mate from the Refinery Days that has his own distillery now) So we have prime spot at the bar, bought our first round, and we haven’t paid for another round since, she keeps telling us it’s on the house

Mmm, gin! I had a couple too many last night and felt more than a bit jaded this morning, that place looks like an 11 though!!
Currently sipping a glass of Baudouin pastis and ice water, mostly because it’s warm here, but the other reason is I saw it on the shelf (top right of picture) in Kiwi’s Gin Bar.

A Cornish white with dinner, white port with the cheese and an Armagnac and espresso to finish up. We’re feeling pleasantly mellow right now.

Whilst I also agree with the sentiment, there is one other situation that could be in contention.:Deegee wrote:Coffee, why does no other coffee taste as good as the first sip of the day?
.. That small, strong & perfectly produced (albeit absurdly overpriced) coffee that you sometimes have. after demolishing all courses and drinks at a really good restaurant.?

Re: What are you drinking?
Back to the Gin Palace for a few post dinner, quieter night, met up with old friends of Jess’ and wanted to show them the place. They loved it.
The head bar chick was off last night but the other bar chick we chatted to heaps, who just happens to be a Jess as well was there and looked after us well. Now FB buddies and she’s hit us up for a visit to Sydney so I can show her around my mates distillery.
