Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Looks like the Tuono has gone now as well, if he likes it when he sees it on Monday it’s a done deal.
So I’m left with 999 and the 600rr track bike, I’m going to get something else but something a bit older so I can tinker with it, haven’t made up my mind what yet though.

1100 Monster would be my recommendation. Big air cooled Ducati motors are as good as anything they have ever made and simple to work on.

Looks great, then you get and you think you’re sitting on the ground - it’s not a bike for a tall lad.
Just been back in to pick up the AT, and it was straight after Karate, had a cramp all the way to garage....

Weird just seeing one disc on the front. Shows you how much attention I normally pay, 'cos they've been like that forever.

Cleaned the vfr and checked out over for next week's duties. Found a headlight bulb out so had to get a replacement.
Normally I'm a fan of build quality and over-engineering, but Honda take the piss. Took me over an hour to replace the bulbs as they're so damn hard to get to.

Fitted my quickshifter - easy install but took my time to get a neat job done.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Met up with Kwacky at Lucy's yesterday morning for breakie. Was a nice catch up and also a good ride there and back
Afterwards was planning to head home but I thought screw it the bike was out and my mate was heading to another ride out in afterwards so decided to join
The roads at the beginning of the ride out were sh!t. I had to talk to the leader and say these roads aren't acceptable for a ride out. If this was an advanced ride then fair enough i fully understand that's their bread and butter ride outs for the thinking rider but for a general ride it wasn't good. ended up at Nellies Diner in Newbury
Just a few snaps with my mates camera

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Forgot to add. When. We were at nellies a Merc A Class pulled up. I took no notices of it at first as I was chatting. Anyway 5 or so mins went past and they were walking back. My mate mentioned they look young.
I took a lool I swear these kids were 12.
I walked up to the driver and prodded him. Nice car, how long you had tjis for etc. I then went onto how old are you, he said his age was 20. I said got ID. He said am I serious? So i said too right I am you got ID? Anyway i asked for his birthday and he said it all, driving lisence looked legit. I said he looked incredibly young etc.
Makes me wonder, was it a good fake or am i just getting older?!

Gave the Versys a quick wash, lubed the chain and put a short screen on it.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Took the KTM for a new rear.
In the pissing rain.
On a bike I haven't ridden for a while.
With a flat rear as I forgot to check it.
To find that the tyre hadn't been delivered and he had been trying to contact me by had the phone number wrong..

Not the most successful of trips, especially as the MOT is on Thursday and the rear tyre won't make it to the garage let alone pass.
Still, he has kicked the arse of the supplier and offered to open late for me tomorrow to fit it.
