MTB ride.
Maybe.
Unless I find bacon in the fridge on my way to the garage, which is highly likely.

Just joined the local 24hr gym near me, I need to get fit and lose some weight. Not far from work so do an hour early in the morning 6am then go to work.

Blimey, was it really that warm today? Didn't really feel like it right in the city, still cycled back with a fleece on.Deegee wrote:Melting in N.London in 32°C heat with no breeze, mind you minigee will be in 35°+ tomoz in Paris....

Re: What are you doing today ??
I was stuck at a customers in Hendon, it's surrounded by conifers to appease the local residents due to noise early in the morning, but that has the side effect of killing all hints of a breeze without providing any shadow between about 9.30am and sometime in the evening after I've gone, it's freezing cold in the winter and ridiculously hot in the summer. That temp was taken from my vans temperature gauge when I stopped for lunch - all the doors were open all day to prevent it getting too hot. Fat chance.

Re: What are you doing today ??
So yesterday evening I was at a Lapras raid (Pokemon) waiting for some people to turn up. One of them messaged the group saying some guy got their arm stuck in a railing.
We walked around the corner to find a 21 year old guy with his arm getting crushed in an electric sliding gate. About 6 people on a ladder trying to lever the gate open, at least 20 people on the gate trying to pull it open. Every time 1 single person let go to reposition or get a better grip he was in more pain. The fire brigade cut part of the gate off and freed the guys arm but it looked partially crushed already.
In the end there were at least 30, maybe 40 people helping this guy

Re: What are you doing today ??
He was reaching through to press the emergency open so he could get inside (I believe he lives there). He didn't pull his arm out fast enough.
Not really sure why and I'm sure it will get investigated as there weren't any signs on the outside or mesh to stop someone reaching through - that said, I still don't know why someone would risk it.

Re: What are you doing today ??
That sounds nasty.
After being woken at 2.30 this morning as my daughter and her friend went off to a school trip I have the delights of facing the M6 to and from Manchester in the car with a conference in between. It's a meeting with a QC, a neurosurgeon, neuropsychiatrist and a neuropsychologist. I may be a tad tired and very much out of my depth

Re: What are you doing today ??
It's my son's last few days at junior school. Tonight we went to their year end production, which was really good.
Outside the school I was chatting with some of the parents when I clocked who I thought was a teaching assistant. It turns out that the 5 foot 8 inch tall female is in the same class as Alex.
