Don't really know how to act for this one......oh waitItchy wrote:Well, today I've managed to hit a VIP in the face.
I've been saluting a lot this morning, a lot of high-ranking officers from around the world are visiting. But the entry point is also the exit point, and when people are going out at the same time as a group of foreign officers are coming in and I have to bang one up...
Pow! Right in the kisser!
So that's going well for me.
I'm also waiting for someone to pick up the fact that I forgot to shave this morning.
Aren't I just the picture of professionalism?

Up at 4.45am to take MiniGee into school for a 4 day trip to The Somme and Paris.
My body wants to know why it's awake at that time on a Saturday. I suspect egg and bacon may placate it later on.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Made an early start on Friday to get to RAF Fairford for the RIAT17 - Royal international air tattoo.
As I wanted the get close to the crowdline.....ffs! Seriously filled up already..... ha ha unreal. I think next time I will pay up and get myself in the posh areas.
As I seem to be surrounded by complete knobheads.... picture the scene, the whole line up front was full of people already camped out, then there was a whole strip of grass cut right down, red, RED rope corned off a section. Obvious as nobody was standing there, and it being RED, and the grass has been cut that this is where the emergency services would roll down if needed.
Every single brain dead muppet would come along and stand there, the staff would have to move them along, ALL fecking day!
I would not care so much, but as it was I found a great place to stand, but only if everyone kept out of this zone. I managed to deposit all my kit in a large area around me to give me a bubble for taking pics...ha ha ha what an arse I was
Good show, at least it was dry, the last time I went it was cold and wet. Hopefully managed to get some good pics.

Sitting on sandbanks beach, it's really nice here. Nice soft sand, just needs a little more sun...

Re: What are you doing today ??
having one of them days where everyone I seem to deal with is in a bad mood and seems to want to take it out on me
problem is all the clients I've got at the mo are the more difficult cases as all the nice easy ones have already sailed through, today is about trying to sort out the awkward ones while picking up more decent clients.
