Frankie wrote:Good news bad news, I recently purchased a new lid from the Sportbike shop (online) I was very happy with the next day timed delivery all free of charge, the quality of the packaging and services second to none.
My only gripe was the price had gone down 75 notes over night, only noticed as I happen to look at some others items the next day. Obviously bad timing on my part but also a kick in the teeth as I had take some long to sort this out.

So I wrote to them a very polite email highlighting my annoyance. Well I take my hat off to them, I received a refund for the difference and a nice email suggesting a gesture of good will.
You can't say fairer than that. Merry Christmas Sportsbikeshop.co.uk.
That is incredible in my opinion. I'm surprised a company are willing to give away their money as they really didn't have to, although I must admit I have used these guys and keeping a customer happy is definitely their number concern.

They're fog lights. Lights for when there's fog. You use them when it's foggy, that's why they're called fog lights. It's all the name.

Twats,
Funnily enough, I had this Facebook reminder the other day.

Ok then Fog Light Wankers, a quick recap for you...

1. Rain is not fog, and does not necessitate the use of fog lights.
2. Night time is not fog, so see above.
3. Wind, ice and overcast skies are still not fog. See f*cking above.
4. You don't look cool and they don't make you see any further. The only thing they do in non-foggy weather is mark you out for the c*nt that you are.

Merry Christmas, you Fog Light Wankers!!!

Today's vent is directed towards the total Cnut who has twatted our car door with their own door and then driven off, just because you drive a POS and don't care about it - the rest of us do care about our hard won stuff being damaged by you or your scum kids.

I sincerely hope your earholes turn into ar*eholes and sh*t all over your shoulders. DG

The price of train tickets.

As my season ticket ran out I thought I would just get 3 day returns to get me through to Christmas and get a new season ticket in the new year.

£40 a day for a return, yet a weekly ticket is £106.... How the feck do they get away with that rip off (shocked)

When I was in OC area, everyone it seemed was driving on pretty much slick tyres. So I bet it's fun when you finally have rain watching the morons aquaplaning.

Its icy here, so no you can't have any sympathy. **** off.

Yes. That is correct. Everyone drives on slicks in track-prepped cars here. It's the law.

Expensive custom paintwork like that is usually done with the spare change we save on every gallon of petrol we buy.

How about you???

The TV licensing Gestapo turned up last night. You haven't got a TV license.... I know - i don't watch TV - go away :D

and whats your name? None of your business.

I don't have TV.

Can we just come in and check that? No. You have no legal right of entry.

But you'll end up in court. I doubt that. Merry Christmas. :P

Standard letters. Plus they are capita employees - usually on commission. I fail to see how they can prove anything where your son and other halls of residence are concerned.

I used to believe the BBC was worth the fee - now i wish they would just had adverts and scrap the fee. There is very little need to watch the BBC now. It's either biased, over simplified or crap. Its not like they have any decent sport on it now either.

If i was using TV i'd buy one as I'm a good boy but its time it went.

Agree. BBC America has commercials....but so does everything else, so it's not an issue.

The missus spending £312 in sainburys on food shopping alone. Bit of a shock but sure it will be worth it.

What did pee me off though is went to Richer sounds yesterday to buy a 4k tv as a christmas treat.

Met all the criteria for a price match but they still wouldn't price match. They needed to knock 80 of to price match but would only knock 30 off so I left it. Thats twice know I've been there for a price match, on an in stock item, locally with same warranty and they have declined. Waste of time tbh.

Irony is 5 hours later after they have closed they have dropped the price to what I wanted them to match it too, which is exactly what happened last time I went there for a price match.

It's bad service and false advertising so I won't buy it from them or shop there again out of principle.

Barstools (swear)

Grumble over now to cracking open the bubbly and start a 3 day excess of booze, food and presents which apparently is called christmas (lol)

Have a good one everyone (y)

Having to have an account for every f**king thing!

Spent Christmas Day setting up Apple ID's for the kids on their new iPods with family sharing. I had been managing their devices under my ID up till now (older devices that couldn't do family sharing)

But then they both got Mario Run. Oh we need a Nintendo account.

Pokémon Go, oh now we need a gmail account.

Wii U Dance 2017. You can use iPods/iPhones as extra controllers. But wait you need a UPlay account.

3.5 hours doing my Self Assessment Tax return an hour and a quarter of which was on the phone to their helpline.

It winds me up every year (swear) I'm a PAYE employee at the end of the day. After all that apparently I owe them £15 which must cost them 10 fold that to process the form.

What a waste of everyone's time and money (gah)

I'm lazy, I pay the accountant to do that for me.

The fooking heat. 40 deg C yesterday, 37 today and the next three days we are up here camping it's 35+. Now normally I like the heat but this is insane. Especially with 6 people in a tent.
