My vets are really good actually, he only charged me £30 to see one of my bunch and give her injections and a course of medication, went back for her check up and took another one with me that was also showing symptoms and he didnt charge me anything, even for the new one was very pleasantly surprised.

Just the 3 hours of it
Rehoused a couple of spiders. Went better than expected.

Didn't get in till 3.30 this and thought I'd have a lie in this morning but as it's hot and all the DIY feckers are in the gardens next to mine I don't think that's gonna happen.
I get knocked down but i get up again.

Hanging !!
Ate a lunch time yesterday and forgot to have any dinner. Had a couple of glasses of wine then popped to the pub, had about 3 pints of cider but it has really done me in. My head hurts and even the tried and tested sausage and mushroom sarnie hasn't helped...

Clearing my bedroom ready to start stripping the walls, having a sort out downstairs and going to the QE for a field of vision test and a chat with my consultant. I'm hoping she's going to rubber stamp me going back to work in August.

Good luck, BM.
Not much planned today. Got to go through some accounts, which is rarely entertaining.

I've got my objectives review today. Witha guy who doesn't know me and doesn't know what work I do. The objectives have got to be input online on a system I've not not been given access to. This won't be a waste of time at all.

3 minutes. That's how long the meeting lasted. I appear to be very good at making it clear I don't like having my time wasted.

Most places I've worked didn't give shit about employee development or targets but I can understand your reluctance

My boss is the complete opposite, its such a small company but I swear she thinks shes running microsoft as have to fill out all these forms about how you feel you manage you relationship with your colleagues and managers in your department (I am the department now) and about how your role will develop etc, proper delusions of grandeur

We love paperwork at our place. There's tonnes of the bloody stuff. I have to fill a form in to request a form.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Out here we have to do a PMP (Performance Management Plan) annually in which we nominate 5 goals that align to the Business Units objectives and 2 Personal development goals. We have a mid year review and a end of year interview once you have uploaded your achievements into the PMP. Along with that we have a TLP (Training Learning Plan) which is to be fulfilled annually, made up of mandatory or refresher training and personal development training. AND then we also have an IDP (Individual Development Plan) which is were you say you want the bosses job and they help you design a development path to obtain that.
SO not used to this corporate type stuff. In the military I just did what I was told and at the end of the year that told me how well I did it.
But back to the thread topic...... Flying off here in 6 hrs!!! 2.5 hrs left of shift, f**k yeah! 5 week break too
(except for the 2 day Freefall lifeboat couse I have to do in Perth next week
)
