Seems we all start falling apart at 50 or thereabouts, at 40 I was fit as a butchers dog and didn't take a pill, now at 54 I've got two steel hips, deficient thyroid and diagnosed with Addison's disease (adrenal gland failing), they've issued me my free for as long as takes prescription card and I'm supposed to carry another card warning medics I'm on prescrip Steroids for the rest of my natural. But I'm still here and I'm still enjoying life!
Bratty, whatever the problem they'll sort you and I'm sure you'll be fine, but almost inevitably have more pills to take, we'll all end up rattling like cheap maracas.

Boss has taken the rest of the afternoon off so I'm putting our new two screen system into good use by having work on one and the cricket on another.

It's gonna be a hot one today and I may have a few visitors from head office so I'll have to wear all my safety gear, lab coat, ear muffs and big feck off safety specs so even hotter for me.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Cleaned the push bike (so apologies for the impending deluge in South Brum!), having my ghastly fire and fireplace removed, couple of coats of floor paint in the study, giving feedback to a friend on why she didn't get a job she applied for with me (that's not going to be an easy one!
), bit of shopping and a bit of exercise.
Quiet day all things considered

its all muggy here no sun at all , the dog has gone to the vet's to have 4 teeth out which has cost about £400 i think i may become a vet......
Step brother has taken Harry out for the day so I have been poking my mate with a stick. So he will ring the insurance company up and put me on the van insurance. He's a lovely bloke but infuriatingly slack at doing things.

"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.
