I have always just used Autoglymn car shampoo as I buy it in bulk for washing the car. Are these bike specific bike cleaners worth trying ? Why are they better than a good quality shampoo ? Am I missing out on something ?

Don't think your missing out mate. Auto glymn is amazing stuff! Personally I like the spray nozzle because it gets into the hard to reach places. It's very stupid because I could easily just make up a car shampoo and put it into a bottle which admittedly I have done. In my opinion I found Sdoc100 by far better than any other shampoo car or bike. But it's premium brand so a premium price which I dislike! It's the only wash that I have witnessed physically drip off all the gunk and grime from the bottom of the suspension where it usually gets really grimey. It brought it up to sparkling new with minimal effort. I literally just sprayed on and jet sprayed off after 3-4 mins.

I do like trying new stuff though hence the rhino goo.

PS I bought a cheap Pound land bike cleaner the other week. Didn't use it on my paint work as was too nervous of it bubbling or something but on the down pipes and wheels it did a superb job so I went back and bought 5 litres of the stuff for 5 quid so I don't waste the good stuff on places where it would just be a waste.

I'm not a detailer or anything and don't go into it all that much I just want to spend a hour cleaning the bike, taking my time but with minimal effort!!

Tbh Rossgo my bike rarely gets dirty as tend to ride when forecast dry and worst that happens is I get caught in the odd shower.

Good tip on the spray bottle for hard to reach areas I will mix up some shampoo and use that method, cheers for the idea pal.

Not at home at the moment and got no photos showing it on my phone, sorry.

Basically it looks the same as the OEM seat anyway as I bought a S/H seat of ebay and had a gel insert fitted by Caulfield Leather.

The standard seat seriously hurts my bum, which is weird as its lots softer than the ktm seat which was like a wide plank to sit on

Thats the problem IMO. The ZX10R seat is narrow to allow racers to move around easily, but the flip side of this is not much surface area is spreading the load so you get a sore botty quite quickly if riding all day or not moving around much to relief the pressure.
