Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Today rode 230 miles all in to Cheddar Gorge. What absolutely amazing roads to get there.
I went with 2 of my mates and we got a move on. I sh!t myself up a couple of times though. The first I was shifting and didn't quite realise how quick I was going and how sharp the bend was so instead of panicking and breaking I just lent straight off the bike and powered all the way around it, I felt lile i wasn't holding it on the correct road line instead the racing line and I managed to kick up some sort off the side of the road and give it a little wiggle. Defo a squeaky bum moment
Second was when i was just outside the Gorge and the bends were really sharp, I was following a rider on a CBR and they clearly knew the roads, they were a bit ahead of me so I decided to catch up. Before I knew it they had started a going into a bend and disappeared, as i was accelerating at the time I realised I was going in too hot, do snatched at my front breaks. I felt them dig in and I thought I was coming off from target fixation straight into a cliff, shook my head out of it and dived my body into the bend. Came out the other end realising the other rider was never going that quick because I had caught them up
Third and final. Parked up in a gorge side car park (not in the town) kicked down my kick stand, got my leg over the bike and wollop, the kick stand flicks back up and leaves me battling the bike not to fall down. I knew there was a slight angle but not as much as what i have parked on before! Luckily my mate ran over and held the bike for me while I got my footing sorted.
About 20 mins on trying to find a car park in town and my mate managed to slide it on gravel and fell over. No damage to him just a few scratches to the bike.
After that we all decided it was the prefect time for cake and drinks!
Then popped by the reservoir for a bit of chillage
Also on a side note we noticed about 3 different riders literally riding up and down the Gorge from the moment we got there until the moment we left!
