It's had a clean. The photo shows it's clean but the real proof is the obligatory random hand injury.

You what? 180 miles?! On 1 tank?!
I could barely get 90 miles out of my ZX6R!

In my defence, it is a much newer generation of bike to yours, so it's always going to be better on fuel. Plus I'm road riding.
Most of the motorway at the moment is 50mph, so I slap on the cruise control, which saves a huge amount of fuel.

Dare say the ZX holds a bit more too?

Which is pretty crap for me

4000 miles in what? 2 months? About right for you

The bike is booked in for an annual service at the end of the month.
My mileage increase from the last service is pretty embarrassing.

Annual service done with new brake fluid. £235 all in. I thought that was pretty reasonable.

I think that’s a good price.

The sx is 3 years old next month. I've booked it in for an MOT.

The Z8s got a bit squirrelly today once they got hot. I'm in no rush to change them, but when I do I'll go for something a bit sportier. I no longer have to worry about getting mileage out of my tyres.
Getting a move also highlights the cheap suspension. If I'm keeping the kwak I'll upgrade the front and rear.
A lot depends on the 2025 1000sx upgrades. Details of the new model should be released in autumn.

17.68l to fill up. I think that's the most I've put in the sx
