Perhaps I do have photography skills and I'm just not aware

Cav takes a photo and sends it to his missus..
“That’s not a watch!” She says
“Yeah, but how’d ya like to put a couple of hands on it love”

"Can I use my mouth instead?!" is the response I would get!

Had the bracelet off to measure up for a custom made leather strap so thought I would try it on the Blue Nato strap it came with.
Thinking I like the Nato more than the bracelet tbh

You’re not going to actually wear it are you!?
I figured that was a collectors piece just to be admired

I bought it to wear but not my every day watch no mate.
I've got an Omega Seamaster that I've had at least 20 years so that's a daily wear as plenty of lifes scars on it

@Kiwi Have a look at Magrette. Their a boutique watch brand from New Zealand.
I have one off their Mona Pacific watches. It's got a swiss made, Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement which is what you typically find in watches from Oris.
Pound for pound there amazing value. Decent movement and the quality of the case and other Magrette sourced items is very high.

They do look very nice. I only every wear a watch at work, which is a G-Shock as it’s the only thing that seems to survive out there in the humidity and getting bashed around.
I really don’t like the feel of a watch on my wrist anymore.

I love the look of that with that strap personally. Nice. I admire watches but they can get bloody expensive so I have one which I got for mine and my wifes 10 year anniversary - it hardly gets used apart from when we go out together. I love wearing it but I always worry about hitting it and cracking it etc lol

Update on the engine. Haven't been on Tankslap for a while now - haven't had anything to talk about as I have done F/A due to lock down so instead just cracked on with the model really
This is a lot more trickier than I expected. Few modifications I have had to make with wire, sanding and creating a couple of new simple bits but if I was more skilled I wouldn't of needed to do that!!
Anyway more pics

I couldn't get a real engine to look that good. Nevermind scale-sized version.
Nice touch by dating it.

Cheers fellas. I'm enjoying the build. Still a long way to go yet for the entire thing.
As for the date yea, its suppose to be the engine number which I thought having the date would be a nice touch
