Chins up seem to batter my abs more than any other exercise.

I'm 20kg lighter.
I think it depends where I so them. At the gym it's arms and back but at home it's abs. I think because I use a doorframe bar I have to fold my legs to get them off the floor, so I must be using my core to stop my legs from swinging.

There's a knack to front squats.
I haven't found it yet though!
We're just over 2 weeks into Insanity now. Still hard, still covered in sweat after every session but it seems to be paying off. Had a quick measure of my waist and I've lost an inch already.
Despite eating various takeaways and snacks.

Step machine or spinning does it for me,I suppose I should stop eating cakes and curry but that would be too difficult wouldn't it

I suppose if I cut back on carbs and changed my exercises I could do it but circuit training brings on my headaches.

Big leg session. I'm battered. 200kg leg press is now comfortable. Threw in some deadlifts as well.

Decided I couldn't be bothered to do a weights session before circuits this morning. Turned out to be a good thing.
Circuits turned out to be 2 Crossfit WODs, done outside in the sunshine.
Then an Insanity session at lunchtime.
Don't think I've sweat that much for a long time!

Chest and traps. Plus a quick 5 min arm session.
I need to see if I can do HIIT again without it bringing on headaches. My spare tyre is looking like a complete set.

I'm still plodding on with the training. Doing hour sessions with the trainer fortnightly, basically doing high intensity strength based circuits. Between them I'm doing high intensity cardio and strength sessions.
No idea what I've done to my ankle but I still can't run for more than 10 mins without pain setting in. Going to have give in and see the doc I think.

Trained a couple of times on holiday, only light weights but got a good pump for strutting round the pool lol, weighed myself this morning and after a week of proper over indulging I only put about 3Ib's on.
I get knocked down but i get up again.

Yes mate. I initially thought it was a stress fracture and laid of the running for a while, but it's been a couple of months now and anything that has continuous impact on the ankle causes quite a bit of pain.
