The italians have apparently turned up the wick with all of them siding with Rossi's argument of Marquez out to stop him, including Ducati themselves.

Makes you wonder whether that last race should even go ahead from a saftey point of view as i suspect there may not be much fair racing happening.

DUCATI TEAM REACTS:

After the incident at Turn 14 of the ‪#‎Sepang‬ circuit Andrea ‪#‎Iannone‬ seems more explicit: "You can not go a second slower than a few hours before (to warm up,), but I do not know what the strategy of Marquez was. When I go on the track I think only to my race, to get the best possible result: this is an individual sport." It is echoed by Andrea ‪#‎Dovizioso‬: "‪#‎Marquez‬ was fighting for the podium, but also to annoy Rossi: it wasn't nice to see this."

Paolo Ciabatti, Sports Director of Ducati Corse:"I think that everything is a result of the statements on Thursday of Rossi: it seems clear the intention of Marquez to annoy ‪#‎Rossi‬ but Valentino was wrong to react. The punishment was to harsh".

And what Marquez has to say?Be prepared guys:

Marc Marquez said; "With Rossi is not finished here," ugly words spoken by the Spaniard who perhaps want to reveal its intention to continue to hinder Valentino until the last, compromising the race of Valentinoalso in ‪#‎Valencia‬, and hinting that the resentment could last even next season.(passionemotogp.blogspot.it, ilgiornale.it)

Im glad. I like bike racing to get gritty and no love lost. Think gp needed a bit of drama to be honest.

I never liked rossi anyway so easy for me to take a side.

Indeed, there's nothing like a bit of drama to get people interested in the sport. The internet is still chatting about it.

Roll on Valencia.

The sanction imposed by the Race Direction at the Malaysian GP is suspended for now, with a final decision expect Nov. 6th.
On the basis of Article 3.4.2, para 3 of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Regulations, Mr Valentino Rossi has filed an Appeal against the decision taken by the Race Direction of the Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix in Sepang, penultimate round of the FIM MotoGP Grand Prix World Championship, and confirmed by the FIM Stewards, to award 3 penalty points to Mr Rossi following an incident on Turn 14.

In appealing to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), Mr Rossi seeks annulment or reduction of the penalty. He further requests stay of execution of the decision in accordance with Article R37 of the Code of Sports-Related Arbitration.

The FIM will not comment any further at this time.

After a week of careful thought I'm coming out on Rossi's side on this and hope it gets repealed.

The rider that's come out of this worse in my eyes is George. Complaining to the stewards about the penalty of his team mate being to light and fecking off early.

I really wouldn't be surprised if he hasn't shot himself in the foot with Yamaha.

Quite a few rumours circulating Yamaha want rid of Jorge with Ducati waiting in the wings.

Lorenzo is quicker than Rossi IMO.

I wonder if Smith would step up and take Jorge's place?

Moto GP pays quite well so I don't think he needs a second job.
