MiniGee went back to school today, he’s better but has a cough that sounds like a dog barking, he’s got a rescheduled Spanish speaking mock he doesn’t want to miss.

Shoulder update :
I had to see the surgeon the other week to hopefully get signed off and talk about having the plates removed from the shoulder as it aches a lot , any way after the x rays were done I found out why it aches , one side of the plate has managed to work it way loose !!.
The surgeon told me I have 6 screws in one side of the plate and 4no in the other side, the side with 6no screw has come loose, he said hes never seen that before. So now I have to have a CT scan so they can see the condition of the bone , if its ok they will operate and take the plate out, if its not ok , I don't know ? you can see the end of the plate under the skin, I thought it was just like this after all the swelling went down but obviously not.

My stomach..
Been in pain since Wednesday, finally given up and gone to the walk in clinic as it's not getting any better.

Seems I’ve caught what every other member of our family has had, it’s some form of flu bug, where I’m getting the sweats and shivers alternately whilst every joint in my body is in pain, with a raging skull ache thrown in for free.

Here’s my metal work. The dots are the edges of the cages in place of my discs filled with donor bone that will cause the fusion.

I dunno, I remember Kwacky messing himself up pretty bad. Not sure how much metal work it cost him though.Cavetroll87 wrote:I think its official in so far as Kiwi has won this thread for all time as it stands.
But yeah St Marks very happy with the job she did and she seemed to be as well.

My right humerus has got a full length titanium nail running through it and it's screwed into the bone at both ends.
Physically I might have more metal but the nature and location of yours is on completely another level.
