Re: What you watching?
Yep....someone else pointed that out to me a while back.
It actually had a pretty decent cast when you think about it. Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall (who was fairly famous for a while over here)...Sam Jackson, Darth Vader, etc.

Re: What you watching?
I used to visibly tremble with fear when the wife would threaten me with some "gem" of a movie that "Honey, this is the funniest film ever...we've got to watch it together!"
Why? Because you want to see a grown man weep openly??
Not amused. Not even by accident.

It seems there's a sequel, "Coming 2 America", due out this December....and with most of the original lead cast reprising their roles.Kwacky wrote:There's a very young Cuba Gooding in it as well
I'm sure it'll be hilarious.../

Re: What you watching?
I have been on ITV4, one after the other.... Minder, Professionals, then the Sweeny.... Honestly the scripts on these are awesome, great to watch again, the acting on the lesser players is a little ropy, great cars and vans a plenty. Ha ha. now series linked.

Mortimer and Whitehouse - Gone Fishing.
Probably the best thing on terrestrial TV at the moment.

Re: What you watching?
Was a few weeks back, but watched a Netflix doco called “The Speed Cubers”
I thought it was going to be just a cubing comp doco but it was so much more. One of the main people in it was an autistic lad and the story between him and his main rival (an Aussie guy) was so amazing. As you all know autism is a big part of my life with Byron and the doco really touched me. Not fazed to say it brought me to tears a few times.
Definitely worth a watch even if you have no interest in cubing.
