Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I had a nice evening tinker with the GT and fitted an Evotech radiator guard (Excellent quality as always) and sorted a couple of niggles so I don't have to take it back on Thursday... Which is nice, the standard cat from the MT would be a pain in the arse to transport on a bike as it's too big for the top box or panniers, so I will go in the car.

Does look lush, & Tricolore is my personal fav scheme for a Ducati. However IMHO there could do to be a touch more green, & as it's a DM scheme they would have had the opportunity to address that.Monty wrote:....

I certainly wouldn't kick her out of bed though.

Been out for an IAM observed ride. Filled it with V Shell on the way home. Twenty fecking five fecking pounds.
I won't be doing that again for a while.

Funny you should say that as the aniversario doesn't have any green. Neil added that and now he's not sure about it. I think it looks pretty good, but not seen it in the flesh.StMarks wrote:Does look lush, & Tricolore is my personal fav scheme for a Ducati. About 300 miles after yesterdays tinker session, I am loving it! Comfy, fast, good on fuel and agile.
There was another KTM with us today, 1290 SuperDuke SE with the very expensive Ti Akrapovic Evo exhaust and race kit (Filter, AIS removal and a re-mapped ECU) but his baffle was in so mine with just an Austin Racing can hanging off the catalyst was louder
A quick pic from our lunch stop.

209 is fooking bonkers. Mines probably a little less as got race cans but oem headers but still probably around the 200bhp mark and bike weights 192kg wet.Monty wrote:Think it was 209 at the rear wheel. Goes a long way to explaining why it's genuinely scary quick

Never took the bike into the lakes.
Any good roads ? What's the traffic like ? You get tourists parking after blind bends to admire a view?

Any good roads? Lots, some tight and some like the A6 south of Shap are fast and flowing.
Traffic was horrendous around Windermere but away from tourist hot spots its usually fine.
Tourists generally keep to the parking areas, theres plenty of them but you get the odd one.
