"Midway."
God, this movie is bad.....at least, the first 25 minutes of it are, which is about as much as anyone should be expected to suffer through before resorting to either seppuku, or another Woody Harrelson movie, whichever is worse.

I quite liked Mid Way - admittedly I watched it in a plane when I was tired, it's a very long film but some of the scenes are Pearl harbour good.D41 wrote:"Midway."

Still no 'Dambusters' mind

Re: What you watching?
I didn't like "Pearl Harbor" either to be honest....too cliched, too glitzy, too "Hollywood."
Oh yeah...and let's stick a pilot-nurse-pilot love triangle right in the middle of a pivotal moment in modern US history. I need that like a hole in the head.

Imola 2002 Bayliss v Edwards.
The noise of those 998 race bikes is what made me want one.

Re: What you watching?
Well said D - about the triangle stuff. I enjoyed the action but that love triangle wasn't needed and would of cut the film down a tad but I guess they wanted it to appeal to everyone.D41 wrote:I didn't like "Pearl Harbor" either to be honest....too cliched, too glitzy, too "Hollywood."

Re: What you watching?
Yep....and Ben Affleck fighting in The Battle Of Britain in 1941 didn't do the film any favours either. (It took place in 1940!)
Etc, etc, etc.

Re: What you watching?
Random Youtube stuff
Peaky Blinders
And re-watching The Expanse, for a Sci-Fi / space fan it's a fantastic show and much more real than Star Trek, on there a hard turn to answer a distress call doesn't even ripple the Captains cup of tea...
In The Expanse it is a high G maneuver requiring everyone to strap in and be injected with something to keep them from having a stroke.

Re: What you watching?
Family Guy. It's a shame that ITV seems to show the same episodes over and over.
