My gut feeling is that the Republic and NI will just get closer until politicians start floating the idea of reunification.

At the moment there appears to be no benefit to the Uk population from Brexit except for those who can continue to use offshore tax havens.

With NI being a link to the EU you might find that Westminster will want to keep it in the Union.

I'm fairly certain we'll see a reunified Ireland in the next ten to twenty years. The republic have already offered Northern Irish students funding on the EU Erasmus program and BREXIT isn't very likely to improve anything for anyone in Northern Ireland over the next few years.

The Good Friday agreement states that if NI people want to reunify with the Republic, then they have a right to make that process to happen.

Polls in Northern Ireland generally show there isn't the support for it. It would be interesting to see what the public mood is in day 6 months when the Brexit mess has started to settle down.

The pinnacle of the advice is the British government recommending British companies move to the EU if they trade with the EU and wish to survive.

Oven ready the deal may have been.... An oven ready Turkey that is.

I still cannot understand why so many thought it would be any different.

Trading rules are the same the world over. You cannot circumnavigate the trading rules of the world just because its Britain. Its quite laughable if it wasn't so serious.
