First day back in the office after my off last Wednesday - commuting on the trains when in a leg brace and on crutches is a nightmare!! And then sitting at a desk with my leg in the wrong position all day hasn't helped with the swelling!! Sometimes I hate being a contractor and not getting paid sick days! Just started my commute home

Sorting out insurance as someone went into Kate's car.
No-bodies fault, she was edging out a private drive onto a country lane. But the hedgerows along the side of the road go right up to the drive blocking view. She edged out to try and see, and a woman went straight into her.
Apparantly its happened to this woman 3 times. She lives down the road from the house kate was leaving. So you'd think she was aware of this hidden entrance.

Taught my boy to ride without training wheels!!! School holidays so spent the last few days taking him down to the park and running slowly behind him. Yesterday saw him riding without me holding on but still hadn't mastered the take off and stop. Got that sorted today, and his confidence has soared!!

Hope the scan goes OK blade.
I'm off to the big smoke this afternoon for an interview. Googled the contact name I was given last night, and am now bricking it. The interview is at one of the partners offices, in the gherkin !!

Good luck to Cavetroll and D6Nutz. Blade I hope you get good results.
Today I will be mostly trying to stay awake. I've come off my medication as it's causing nosebleeds so I've got the effects of that and it's allowed my hayfever to come back. Joy.

Re: What are you doing today ??
One of my snakes had decided my arm was food again last night, my fault but just got away with it, he was up and exploring (normally means he is hungry) but he had left me a rather unpleasant smelling present at about 11:30 last night, decided best to take it out despite my better judgement that he assumed it was feeding time, he came straight out eh viv as I opened it up, started climi,b up my arm, so I though oh good, he just wants to explore, hes not hungry, next thing I know I notice him start nuzzling into my arm which is normally what he does before eating his food so managed to just pull him away as he went to clamp on lol, he then decided to try and get my hand, so I had a hungry python in one hand trying to avoid the pointy end and trying to clean his viv with the other hand when all I wanted to do was go to bed after a long band practice.Kwacky wrote:Feeding the spiders. Re: What are you doing today ??
The warmer weather means my spiders are a lot more active. I had one of my pokies decide to leg it last night. I've not seen him or her for ages. It's grown and was very quick. Thankfully I managed to catch him with a small plastic pot I had handy.
The warm weather also means the live food is harder to handle. I had a few crickets make a break for freedom.

I know that feeling, I was at band practice last night and a Dubia roach suddenly dropped out of my shorts, that was a bit weird, knew we had a couple escapes but wasnt expecting that lol!
